Agentic AI tooling tracks design changes across CAD, simulation, and test. Rivian, GM, Anduril, and Stoke Space are already customers, and the round closed at a $750M valuation.
Flow Engineering raised a $50 million Series B at a $750 million valuation, the company said Tuesday. Co-led by Antonio Gracias and Gavin Baker, the round closed on September 30 with a customer roster that already spans EVs, defense, space, fusion, and nuclear.
The startup sells an agentic system for hardware engineering. Agents watch CAD files, Git repositories, simulation runs, and documents, flag conflicts, surface downstream impacts, and check requirements against test coverage, so a design change in one domain is caught before it cascades through the rest.
Flow's release names Rivian, GM's Powered by Unity unit, Volkswagen's RV Tech venture, Anduril, Stoke Space, Intuitive Machines, Pacific Fusion, Joby, Astranis, and Radiant as customers. Rivian's Scott Mackenzie, quoted in the release, said the company evaluated roughly 30 tools before picking Flow. Flow says Rivian's usage grew from 40 to 1,500 users in seven months, and that 96% of its customers came inbound, numbers the company did not detail a methodology for. The founder memo lays out the same system-of-record framing.
The open question is whether the system-of-record pitch holds up across verticals this different, and whether the 96% figure reflects bottom-up pull or press-release polish. VentureBurn first reported the round.
